Omani is an avid outdoorsman who loves to spend time in the mountains, on Lake Powell, and on his land in Nebraska. He is currently most enjoying being a grandparent with his wife, Jeanie, and sharing time with family at their ranch.

CAROLINE HOWELL

Founder, Entrepreneur, Investor

Caroline is a founding partner in Canopy Venao.

She has led and invested in multiple real estate developments and funds in Panama, with a focus on the Playa Venao area.  She spent her career as an investor and operator in U.S. Private Equity, and is now directing her experience towards developing projects and environments where people feel safe, connected, and abundant.

Her move to Playa Venao was driven by a desire to live closer to nature and within a vibrant community. She quickly fell in love with the Canopy land, captivated by its storybook-like views. Caroline saw an opportunity to restore endangered species and cultivate a community committed to environmental stewardship.

Caroline draws her inspiration from the question, “If we could recreate the world we live in, what would it look like?” She aims to empower like-minded individuals to envision and create a world based on safety, connection, and abundance, using this land as their canvas.

When she’s not exploring the land, you can find Caroline enjoying time with her
beloved beach companion, Cosmo.
