Canopy’s land has inherited a culture around environmental research, attracting scientists from world renowned institutions like Yale  and the Smiths onian as well as local talent seeking to preserve the Azuero Peninsula’s biodiversity.

We intend to continue the tradition of the land’s use as a living laboratory and hope to attract even more innovative study.  Inspiring a culture that looks to nature to provide sustainable solutions to our most pressing challenges is an intention we’ve carefully woven into Canopy’s identity.  Aligning with researchers interested biomimicry and regenerative agriculture is of top priority.
